Marlee & Sam’s Rainy Engagement Session in Miami

Sometimes, the best moments happen when things don’t go as planned – & that’s exactly what happened during Marlee & Sam’s engagement session in Miami!

I was in town for a short trip, & Marlee & Sam were kind enough to let me snap a few photos of them in between my own adventures. We had only planned for a quick session, but as soon as we started, the skies opened up, & we were completely rained on. At first, it seemed like a total challenge, but you know what? It turned out to be one of those serendipitous moments that I'll never forget.

Instead of stressing out, Marlee & Sam just rolled with it. They laughed, played, & kept looking at each other with so much love, even as the rain came pouring down. We got some classic shots, but the real magic happened in those unscripted moments – the genuine connection, the smiles, & the pure joy of just being together in that beautiful, unexpected chaos.

This rainy day session is a perfect reminder that some of the best memories come from the moments we least expect. A little rain might throw off the plan, but it can’t stop the magic that happens when two people are fully in the moment, laughing & loving through it all.

I can’t wait to celebrate with Marlee & Sam next year as they get married – rain or shine, it's going to be an unforgettable day!
